Τhe purposes of the society are:
A. The treatment and promotion of the science of Orthodontics, and particularly:
1. The research, study, diagnosis and solution of orthodontic problems in the aspect of theory and practice, dealing with preventive or interceptive procedures.
2. The study, research and solution of orthodontic problems that relate directly or indirectly with other specialties of dentistry or medicine as well as with other relative sciences.
B. The promotion and presentation of orthodontic achievements not only to orthodontists but also to general practitioners and the public.
C. The presentation and analysis of orthodontic subjects to scientists of other specialties.
D. The scientific and moral aid and assistance towards the members of the society in exercising their science and whatever is related to it.
